Muir Glen Soup at Meridian WinCo for 18 Cents!

So quiet here! Everyone must be super busy getting bargains for Christmas!

If your running around takes you to WinCo, I've got a deal for you! The Meridian store has a little end cap of Muir Glen soups at checkstand 16. (That's the one right by the exit door.) They are priced at $1.18 each and when you use the $1/1 IP from www.coupons.com that makes them 18 cents each! I saw garden vegetable, tomato, minestrone, chicken noodle, chicken gumbo, chicken tortilla and lentil varieties.

Also, if you have any of the LaVictoria $4/2 Rewards coupons to use, WinCo has the 16oz size in stock -- unlike Walmart. They are priced at $1.78 each and the cashier will have to force them through, so it might be a good idea to stop by customer service before you check out to ask them how to deal with that. My checker had to call someone over to help figure it out and the process took a bit of time. I ended up getting $3.56 for each coupon, so no overage. Do watch to make sure they don't just hit the bypass key, because this results in the coupon taking off just $1.78 -- the full price of one.

And one more deal to make it worth your while. Go to www.contadina.com for a $.75/3 coupon. Sign up required, but if you signed up at http://solutions.delmonte.com for the $1/4 coupon just log in using that email & password. (And if you didn't sign up for the Del Monte $1/4 -- do it! They make free cans at Albies through the 24th with doublers.) The contadina tomato sauce is about .43 a can at WinCo which makes for 18 cent tomato sauce after coupon -- great price for this food staple! (My Albies doesn't carry the Contadina tomato sauce, so no doubling option.)

That's all for now. Merry Christmas Everyone!

M&M's

I just tried to do the M&M deal at Walgreen 5&O. They are 2/$4 after in store coupon. (not RR) I tried to stack the in store coupons with the online Manufacturer coupon. I had four bags. One online coupon worked and one didn't. The manager said that you couldn't stack the in store instant coupons with MQ's. When the cashier asked why one worked and one didn't, he didn't really have an answer, but wouldn't accept the other one. Anyone know what the official stand is on that? Can you stack an instant in-store coupon with a MQ?

By the way, they are out of the toothpaste that is 4/$10. It is somewhere in the back and they said it would be out later today or sometime tomorrow.

$1 Playtex Gloves

The Greenhurst store in Nampa ordered too many of the Playtex gloves for the last sale. They have a big basket of them on isle 11 and are selling them for only $1. Use the Playtex Living Gloves, any $1/1 (1-31-10) SS1-10/4 and get them for FREE!

UPDATE: Sorry the coupon does not match! The gloves on sale are the "playtex disposables" and the coupon is for "playtex living". $1 is still a good deal for the gloves.

How about FREE margarine?

There's a great catalina on I Can't Believe It's Not Butter! sticks running at Fred Meyer. For every 2 you buy, you get a $2 catalina for your next shopping order. The sticks are priced at $1.89 and there are $1/1 coupons (11/15 RP) and a printable here or here. (This link let me print three, btw!)
  • Buy 2 ICBINB sticks, $3.78
  • Use 2 coupons, -$2
  • Pay $1.78, Get $2 cat!

This catalina is running through 11/28 so there's plenty of time to get yours! (And while I didn't clear any shelves, the Meridian and the O/5 Freddies each have somewhat reduced inventory as of last night, ahem. So, maybe if you're wanting a lot, you should see about doing a special order.) You can do more than one set in a transaction. I bought 8 packs and got 4 - $2 cats.

The sticks I bought last night have a best by date in next April, so I did stock up. These are great for making mac and cheese!

$30/$15 Promo Still Printing AND Works with Breyers - Sara Lee Deal!!!

It is still working as of today (Thursday)!

I'm just back from Albies and here's what you need to know: 1 Breyers from each set (2 pies, 2 ice cream) counts towards your $30.

I bought 5 sets, so 10 pies and 10 ice creams for $31.95 minus $7.75 in various Breyers and Sara Lee coupons = $24.20 + tax. Received $15 in catalinas, so it was like paying $9.20 for it all!!

You could also do just 4 sets of ice cream and pies and use the Skippy & Ragu to get to $30. The scuttlebutt is that this $30/$15 cat will be printing through tomorrow (Thursday) at midnight.

... and don't mind me, I'm just going to do my happy-happy-bargain dance now :)

What is up with the Pie and Ice Cream Promo?

The Sara Lee - Breyers promo is getting a lot of discussion around the blogs & forums. I've read reports of:

  • only being able to use 1 Sara Lee coupon for the whole set
  • being able to use 1 Sara Lee plus 1 Breyers
  • being able to use 2 of each on a set
We need to compare notes and see what our local stores are doing so we can get the best possible deal! Leave a comment to let us know what your store is allowing. (I'll go first and edit in more stores as we get the info!)

Fairview & Meridian: 1 Sara Lee coupon & 1 Breyers per set

Five Mile & Ustick: 1 Sara Lee & 1 Breyers per set

Five Mile & Overland: 1 Sara Lee & 1 Breyers per set

Glenwood: 1 Sara Lee & 1 Breyers per set

It's beginning to look like our area stores might be all on the same page here... Anyone have a different experience? Can you confirm 1 of each coupon per set at any other stores?

From the Fab Frug Inbox!

Monica,

I was a Albertson's tonight on Hillcrest and I found a great deal on Chinet paper plates. They had the 32 Dinner plates marked down from $6.99 to $2.99 and then I used the coupon for a $1.00 off and doubled it and got two set (total of 64 plates) for $2.12. With the holidays coming up I thought that this was a great deal. Thanks for all your hard work. It is fun reading your website.

Free Popcorn and $1 Huggies wipes at albies

Just got back from Alb at 5 and O. They have popsecret (in the isle) on sale 10/$10. If you double the coupons we got $1/2 they are free.
Also, I bought huggies wipes (64 ct). They are 2.99 but have a $1/1 coupon taped on most of them. Double them and I got them for .99 ea.
Hope this helps.

Albertsons Stock Around Town

One of the reasons we started this "locals only" blog was so we could help spread the word about how well stocked the stores are.

Now that we have doubles added to the hot promo running right now, I'm certain things will be getting pretty nuts over at the stores.

So leave (and read) the comments here to check up on the status of your store! Also feel free to post any great shopping trips as well! Those are ALWAYS so fun to see!

Yesterday morning at 5&O, they had a display of cereal just inside the East entrance. I was glad to see how well stocked they were on cereal! They also had plenty of the Breyers Ice Cream.

Also, do keep in mind that they will most likely run the same Breyers Ice Cream/Sara Lee Pie Promo as they did last year (don't laugh at the very amature post). Which was 2 Ice Creams, and 2 Pies for $6.37. From the looks of the freezer display at 5&O, I'd guess it would be starting next week.

LeapFrog Tag Jr. at Target

Just curious if anyone else in the area has had luck with using the $10/1 Target coupon on the Tag Jr. system? I tried it today at the Nampa Target and the cashier said it wasn't for the right product. She even tried scanning it just in case, but no luck. I have seen it posted on other sites, however, that they have had success in doing it, so I was just curious...

How's Walgreen's looking?

So, the month is almost over and I was hoping to score a few more of the monthly RR deals before they're done! I'm wondering if any of the Nampa/Caldwell/Meridian stores have any of the items in stock? Anyone know? TIA! Would love to find a razor (I have ONE more coupon) and the Sheer Infusion lotion. Wouldn't mind the Halls Refresh and Chapstick either. :)

Fab Fabric Softener Anyone? Anyone?

How is your Freddies looking as far as Snuggle Fabric Softener stock? I went to 5&O last night and they only had a bunch of funky fragrances left. I need to find out when they get shipments in. I have 5 coupons and am looking to score some FREE Snuggle!! Woot woot! ;)

Stacking Coupons at Albies

I'm not sure if anyone else has had this problem lately, but the cashier wouldn't let me combine a manufacturer's and store coupon at 5 mile and Overland today. The grocery manager said it was a new policy. The cashier suggested I call corporate to make sure, which I later did. Sure enough, the store was wrong and it is still Albertson's policy to allow stacking both coupons. Just wanted to let everyone know in case you run into problems at this or any other store.

How to Get Cellfire & Shortcuts E-Coupons

Update at the end of this post!

It's not hard to get shortcuts and cellfire e-coupons for your Fred Meyer rewards card.

Let's start with cellfire:

1. Go to http://www.cellfire.com/ and scroll down to the box that says "Enter a City & State or Zip Code" and use Houston, TX 77238 to see the grocery coupons. (You can use any location that has a Kroger. The grocery coupons will not show up using our local zip codes.)

2. Click on the red Register button. (You will need a cell phone number to use cellfire, but you could use a friend's number if you don't have one. It's just used as your login. When you sign up there is an option to turn off text messages from cellfire.) Fill out the information using the Houston zip code and select Kroger Plus card and enter your Fred Meyer Reward card number.

Now for Shortcuts:

1. Go to http://www.shortcuts.com/ and click on the Start Now button. Fill out the form using the houston zip code (77238) and select Kroger for your store. Fill in your Fred Meyer Reward card number.

You should now be ready to add some coupons! You can only get each coupon one time, but they have new coupons every week or two. (I don't recall how often, but they send out an email when there are new ones.) Some of the new coupons are the same as the old ones, just new expiration dates. Be sure to print your list of e-coupons. I mark them off my paper once I've used them. I think there is a limit of 50 e-coupons from each site that can be added to your card, but this shouldn't be a big issue since there aren't that many e-coupons, LOL.

When I was researching how to do e-coupons, I did read somewhere that the e-coupons might need to be loaded an hour or so before you expect to use them to give the system time to update them to your card. I haven't yet tested this out as I usually load them the night before I plan to make my Freddie's run.

Shortcuts and cellfire have a lot of the same coupons. I would suggest making sure that you have one e-coupon loaded on each that isn't loaded on the other site, so you can test out to see if each site's e-coupons are working. For example, only load the Nature Valley Nut Clusters on shortcuts and only load the YoPlus on cellfire and then go to Freddie's and buy one of each to see if the e-coupons work.

It might be easiest to test these out using the self-checkout, so you can take your time and watch for the e-coupons to come off before paying. The shortcuts e-coupons show up as SC followed by some numbers then the discount amount and the cellfire e-coupons are the same except they say Cfire.

Happy e-couponing! Feel free to ask any questions. I'm really new to using e-coupons still, but I'll do my best to answer or find the answer.

ETA: I used the self-checkout with an e-coupon transaction today and the e-coupon didn't come off until AFTER I pushed the pay now button! (I've had a similar thing happen in the regular checkouts as well with the e-coupon/s not coming off until the very, very end.)

Does anyone else use e-coupons?

The last couple weeks I've been experimenting with using e-coupons at Fred Meyer. I've successfully used cellfire and shortcuts e-coupons. I was wondering if anyone else had tried this.

The e-coupons come off automatically when I use my rewards card -- even if I use a manufacturer coupon on the same item. For example, I bought a bag of Nature Valley Nut Clusters for $2.50 and used a $1/1 IP from coupons.com and my $1/1 e-coupon also came off, so $.50 for a bag. Also, shortcuts has a few coupons for Kroger or Private Label items. I bought a carton of Private Label ice cream today for $2.29 and had a $1/1 e-coupon come off, so it was $1.29 for my ice cream.

It's a little bit tricky to set up the e-coupon accounts, because Fred Meyer isn't officially supported. I selected the Kroger card option and then inputted my Freddie's reward number. If there's interest, I can put together a how-to post on what I did to set them up.

Free Aquafresh!

If you go to Aquafresh.com up on the right hand corner there is a link that says "savings and special offers" click on that and there are about five or six coupons you can print. One of which is a free trial size of the Aquafresh Extreme Clean up to $1.25 in value! I am all for a free sample! You will have to enter an email address and make a password, putting your address in is optional, and the printing seemed to take a little long for me...but totally worth it! OH and it will let you print it twice!

Leaf Bags at Fred Meyer

It seems like I have been scoring the best deals lately at Fred Meyer! Today I found one that is local to Boise only and I have not seen on any other blogs yet. Freddies has their packages of 5 lawn and leaf bags (the big compostable paper kind that you use to recycle) on sale for $2.50 a package this week using the coupon in the ad or an in-store coupon, no limit. But if you live in the city of Boise and get their trash service you should have recieved a post card this month for $2 off per package of compostable bags, limit 5 packages, at participating retailers. I looked it up and all Fred Meyers are participating! So I was able to get 5 packages (25 bags) for only $.50 per package, total = $2.50 + tax. I have not checked to see what Winco is selling these packages for, but this seemed like a great deal to me! We are set now to clean out the garden, rake up leaves, and probably have some left for next year!

Rite Aid trip was worth the time!

I called several Rite Aids around town and most of them said they were cleaned out of the "Free-bates" and didn't expect shipments until Saturday. However, the Rite Aid at Five Mile and Fairview said they had most of the items. I had never been to this one, but I will again!!! They had a special end aisle with all the items together. They were out of Zucol and Lip balm. Other than that they had everything. The manager was so helpful. He told me that there will be a $3 SCR on Huggies next week (limit one). So I bought four huggies items today and a bunch of the "free-bates". I will buy a Huggies next week to get the buy 5 get one free. So when all was said and done. I figure all six of my diapers will be 2.75ish and everything else was free. (That uses the money makers towards the diapers). They still had lots of most items. The size 4 diapers were a little picked over.

Fred Meyer Stocked!

I went to the Fred Meyer 0/5 today and they had everything on my list:

Apples
Pears
Carrotts
Pineapple
Franz Bread
Yogurt: They had some priced at .19 each it was the FM brand with fruit on the bottom. I used the .75/4 printable coupon and paid only .01 for all 4! SWEET!
Tree Top Juice
Tillamook Butter: This is a great stock up price! They do not expire until Feb and will be great to have on hand for holiday cooking.
Cheese: Great stock up price too! These don't expire until AUGUST 2010! Keep in mind they are a limit of 2. So you will have to make a few trips.

Find the  Fabulous deals at Fred Meyer sale ends Saturday!

How is the stock at the other stores in town?

Coupon Party

You should have recieved the email about the coupon party. Now we need to figure out which coupons to print. It you are planning on coming to the party and are looking for certain printable coupons leave a request in the comments or start your own post!

This is gonna be fun!

Old Navy 50% Off

Hey ladies! I did some shopping at the Nampa Old Navy today and they still had a good amount of clearance. It may be worth checking out! Check out my Old Navy post on Fabulessly Frugal to see how to save more!

Air wick I motion air freshners at Target

As of this afternoon, the Target on Emerald and Milwaukee had 10 or so still in stock. They are located on an endcap toward the vacuum supplies and things like that. When I tried to purchase them the cashier said it wouldn't accept the coupon because it was more than the price of the item. After i made my other purchases, i went to customer service to see if they could explain it to me. They tried it again and it worked for them, but we had to ring each item up individually. The cashier told me, "When people are kind we really try to help them and get things working for them."

Pillsbury at Albies?

Just wondering how your stores are looking as far as stock on the Pillsbury goodness? OR any of the items in the General Mills Promo?

Tillamook Butter at Freds

I sent my hubby to do some coupon shopping at Freds today (he only called me seven times while at the store).

They were all out of the Franz Wheat Bread ($1) and the Salted Tillamook Butter ($1.25) - this was at the Freds at 5&O. I'm not sure when they restock, and I wasn't about to send him to go inquire. Ha ha!

Anyone know? How is your store looking?

ps - here is the Little Miss...

Seventh Generation

Yay! Seventh Generation products are 40% off again this week at Fred Meyer.

Go to www.seventhgeneration.com to print out some great coupons. (You need to register with them first and then each coupon can be printed twice.)

It feels great to be stocking up on these environmentally-friendly tissues for just $0.31 each!

:( No Albertson's doublers on today's papers

I heard a rumor we were getting Albies doublers today.. I didn't get any, do you think maybe on wednesday?

Organic apples at Fred Meyer

I just saw this and am kind of excited about it. Organic apples are on sale at Fred Meyers this week. Almost all the different kinds were $0.98/lb except for Honeycrisp which were $1.88/lb. I don't buy everything organic, but love to get organic apples when they are a decent price!

(FYI - I did a little research in the past and discovered that you get the biggest benefit from buying organic for fruits and veges where you are eating the skin. So if you have limited $ it is better to spend it on organic apples and grapes than on organic bananas and oranges.)

Red Wine Vinegar

I was just at Fred-Meyer and noticed that Pompeian Red Wine Vinegar had a bunch of those bright orange store coupons next to them: 2/$3.00 (limit 4) ...

... AND some of the bottles of vinegar themselves had manufacturer instant savings peelies on the caps. Some were $0.50 off and some were $1.00 off! ...

...which all equals some pretty decent quality red wine vinegar for $0.50 to a $1.00 each!

Cereal, Oatmeal, Pasta... Oh MY!

I've been running errands all day today, and amongst my travels, I would stop by the nearest Albies to check out their stock.

Here is what I found:

17th & State - good stock on hand, although it was 11:00 am when I went by. I didn't make it to the other side of the store to see if there was a large display though - Had a full shelf of the Dinosaur Egg oatmeal.

Meridian/Cherry - they have a large display of all the Quaker items PLUS the Ronzoni pasta (that you can get for $.20 after the coupon!). They had a great supply and this was as of 8:00 tonight. (No Dino Egg oatmeal)

Five Mile/Overland - my sister was there and said they have a large display and plenty of cereal and oatmeal, although no Dinosaur Egg oatmeal.

Orchard/Overland - no large display, just end cap displays. Plenty of pasta on the shelves, although again, no Dino Egg oatmeal!

How is your store looking? If you're wanting the Dinosaur Egg oatmeal I'd suggest getting a rain check or placing an order (my kids love this, but I ALWAYS add some of the plain oatmeal to it to "water down" the sugar effect and make it stretch a little longer).

Organic Chicken

I don't buy everything organic, but we are partial to organic chicken which I can NEVER seem find on sale.

Today, I was very excited to see that CostCo is awarding a $4.00 instant rebate (per package - limit 5) on their boneless and skinless organic chicken breasts.

If you buy the lightest packages this knocks the price down from $5.99/lb (what they seem to cost just about everywhere) to about $4.25 to $4.50/lb.

This certainly can't compete with Albertson's $1.79/lb deal on non-organic chicken breasts - but if you like your chicken organic, head over to CostCo!

Good time to use Pillsbury brownies coupons..

Albies has them for $1.00 per box. If you use you doublers you only pay tax, if not they are $.50 per box, still a good deal. Time to stock up on brownies!

Free Nature's Source laundry stain remover at Albies!

I was so excited about the peanut butter I forgot I had one more freebie for you! I was at the Meridian & Fairview Albies today to buy some Nature's Source items for this rebate I told you about. Through tomorrow there is a cat on the Nature's Source get $2 OYNSO when you buy 2. The laundry stain remover has a shelf tag of $3.99, but it is ringing up $2.99! I assume it will do this at all stores. (Did you know the self-check outs have a price check option? Just look at the bottom center of the opening screen. Push the "Price Inquiry" button.) So buy 2, use 2 Nature’s Source Natural Cleaner, any $1/1 (11-7-09) SS1-9/13 coupons and 2 doublers, pay $1.98 for 2, get $2 OYNSO. If you use them as two of your 3 items for the rebate, you're looking at a potential money maker!

(p.s. This works on the whole line of nature's Source cleaners. I did some price checking.)

Free Crescent Rolls at Freddies & a Cherry & 10 Mile Albies Money Maker!

I have been a busy little bargain bee today. Remember this Fabulessy Frugal post with info on the Pilsbury catalina & coupon links? Crescent rolls are 3 for $5 this week at Freddies. (I can confirm that the catalina is working there!) So, buy 3 Crescent rolls and use 3 $1/1 IPs, pay $2, get back $2 OYNSO = free crescent rolls! My kids love these :)

Also, the Cherry & 10 Mile Albies has their Skippy on bonus buy for $1.50 ea. I noticed on PYP's catalina thread Skippy Natural (brown lid) is giving $1 OYNSO when you buy 2. In fact, the promo is listed twice with two different end dates. Guess what! Both are running! So, go to Cherry & 10 Mile and buy 2 Skippy Naturals, use a .75/2 coupon from yesterday's paper and a doubler pay $1.50 for 2, get back 2- $1 OYNSO cats = $.50 MM! Remember to buy in 2's. There's a display of Skippy in the back of the store near the yogurt. I didn't see any of the creamy, but there were about 5 cases of the chunky. Go clean them out, Ladies! :) This is only going to work through tomorrow, then one of the cats is ending.

Nestle Toll House

If you're looking for doublers ideas for Albies, the Nestle Toll House refrigerated cookie dough is $2 right now, free if you double your $1 off coupon.

Totino's Pizza

After buying 8 of these at Fred meyer today price was $1.15 then $1/4 turned it to each being .90. Then I looked in the Pauls ad and saw same thing on sale for .88 each. With $1/4 that would take it down to .63 per pizza - that isn't too bad I don't think.

Is this a good deal?

In today's newspaper on A10 there is a Fred Meyer coupon for Hamburger helper for .69 for 1st 6. I have coupon for .75/3. That would put them at .44 each. I am new to this, is this as good deal?

Thanks,
Sheri

HOT POCKETS AND LEAN POCKETS

Last week I was trying to find some things to double at Albertsons. I ran into hot pockets and lean pockets for $2.00. I believe last week we got coupons for .75/1. Though they have to be on a breakfast lean or hot pocket,I thought on Sunday when they double that will make them .50! I have not heard of anyone posting this. Hope I am not repeating something!Remember to share:)

Anyone know of a good place to get coffee beans?

I was just curious what the best price is per pound that any of you other coffee drinkers have found for whole beans in the Boise area. I am currently getting it at Costco for around $4 a pound, but I am wondering if I could do better if I tried one of the local places that roasts their own beans. Does anyone know of a better price locally? Thanks!

olay money maker at albertsons??

there is a sale this week for 20% off olay skin regenerist or total effects.

Saw sign on shelf tonight:
Buy 2 skin regenerist moisturizers , get a coupon for a free olay eye roller.

Possibly Use this with the $20 rebate offer in the newspaper inserts for when you buy an eye roller!!!

sale on moisturizers is $7.99 and up. use $1 off coupons, pay around $14. get the coupon for the free eye roller.. submit the rebate for $20 for a moneymaker!

Nampa Target Clearance

I was at the Nampa Target yesterday returning some things and went to go grab some tape that we needed and...there were Target workers ALL over the store marking clearance items even LOWER! I wound up spending about two hours in the store just walking all of the aisles and checking out all of the clearance. A LOT of the party supplies and card sets were marked way down, a bunch of kitchen items, photo albums, scrapbook stuff, candles, you name it! Most of it I found on the end cap near the photo albums (in the school supply area), but there were finds all throughout the store. I also found kids' beach towels for $3.98 (I HATE paying full price for those)

I managed to score a T-Fal pro family deep fryer marked down from $62.99 to $25.99! I have been wanting a deep-fryer forever! I also got a Hamilton Beach drink mixer for $14.49, marked down from $29.99. There are just tons and tons of items (or at least there were as of about 2pm yesterday). All together I scored about $314.35 worth of stuff for $115.41 and am now pretty much done Christmas shopping! Might be worth checking out if you're going there today...

Clearance items at Vista/Overland Albertsons

I was just at the Vista/Overland Albies today and they had quite a few things in their freezer section on clearance for $1 each. I was in a hurry so I did not write it down, but I do remember seeing Bagelfuls, several Kashi frozen meals, and some bags of frozen vegetables. You may have some coupons that match up to these items. They also had some Del Monte Superfruit Cups for $1 each in a small refrigerator in the freezer section. I had an old IP coupon for $1/3 of these which I was able to double and get 3 of them for $1. If you are in the area it may be worth a look.

Clearance Bargains at Cherry & 10 Mile Albies

I found a couple clearance items that are free with doublers at this Albies.

Hefty One Zip Fresh Extend 1.25 gallon 12ct are on for $1.50
Use the $1/1 Fresh Extend IP from here

V-8 Sweet Red Pepper Soup cartons are on for $1.00

Just throwing out a deal scenario for Walgreens...

If you didn't already know, there is a $5 off $25 coupon HERE that is valid tomorrow (9/29) and Wednesday (9/30) only. I came up with the following scenario just to get ya'll thinking about how to work this to the best advantage...

Buy:

1 - Vaseline Sheer Infusion lotion ($6.99)
1 - Gillette Fusion MVP Razor ($8.99)
1 - Halls Refresh Sugar Free 20ct ($1.00)
1 - Dentek Floss Picks ($2.00)
2 - TheraFlu Nighttime 6ct ($8.00)
1 - Oral B Advantage 1-2-3 toothbrush ($3.00)
1 - Herbal Essence Hair Care product ($2.99)
1 - Chapstick Fresh Effects ($2.99)
1 - Dawn Dish Liquid ($.99 w/ in-ad coupon)

Total: $36.95

Use:

1 - $1.50/1 Vaseline HERE or here: IE or Firefox
1 - $4/1 Gillette (PG 9/27)
1 - $.75/1 Halls (SS 9/27)
1 - $1/1 Dentek HERE
2 - $2/1 Theraflu (the print limit is reached on this one, so hopefully you already printed yours!)1 - $.75/1 Oral B (PG 9/27)
1 - $1/1 Herbal Essence (RP 8/23, exp 9/30) or (RP 9/27)
1 - $.25/1 Dawn (PG 8/30 or 9/27) or $.50/1 from the Home Made Simple coupon booklet

Total after coupons: $25.70 (or $25.45 depending on which Dawn coupon you use)

Use $5 off $25

Total OOP: $20.70 or $20.45 (plus tax)

BUT, then get back $7 RR for the Lotion, $6 RR for the razor, $1 for the Halls, $2 RR for the Dentek, $4 RR for the Theraflu, $3 RR for the Oral B, and $2 RR for the Herbal Essence! That's $25 in RR's! (If you have any RR's from last week, then you could bring your OOP down even more!) Also, if you have the Healthy Savings coupon booklet, it will take another $4 off, so you will have to add another $4 worth of items (after coupons) to reach the $25. I never did find that booklet of coupons, so I didn't factor that in my scenario. Hope that helps get your gears turning!

Nampa Target

I was at the Nampa Target about an hour ago. They do still have some razors left if you are looking for them. I have noticed around the blogosphere that some stores are already out. They are on an end cap near the razors. On the actual razor wall, they are gone.

Also, if you didn't see the Chex Mix deal on Fabulessly Frugal, here it is:

Chex Mix $1.57
use the $1/1 Chex Mix Snack, 3.75 oz. or larger Target web coupon.
AND Stack it with 1 of the following:
$.50/1 Chex Mix 4.5 oz. or larger here
$.50/1 Chex Mix 4.5 oz. or larger Choc. Turtle, Choc. Peanut Butter, Dark Choc., or Sweet 'n' Salty Trail Mix here and here
Final Price: $.07

The Nampa target was fully stocked with these, but as you know, once it hits the web, they go fast!

Dentyne Gum Buy 1 Get 1 Free at Freddies!!

On the back of the new Freddies ad this week they have B1G1 free Dentyne gum. I snagged some B1G1F coupons from Albies a couple weeks ago (thanks to a tip i read) from a blinkie in the coffee aisle, so I picked up 4 packs of free gum tonight :)
Also, they have Precious Cheesesticks 12 oz. on sale 2/$5. I printed some coupons for $1 off a couple weeks ago that I can't remember how exactly I found them (from another blog of course) but maybe can be found off their website? I picked them up 2/$3 anyway. Sorry for not having more Info for you all, I'm waaay new at this blog thing and will try to improve fast :)

Where is everybody? :(
Any way...I went shopping at two different Wags today, the one on Midland and the Blvd and the one on 12th Rd (in Nampa)
I first went to the one on the Blvd and it was VERY well-stocked in everything, except the Gillette Fusion MVP razors which were completely out (so I thought). They actually have signs up, though, limiting each of the monthly RR items to one per person per day, no exceptions.
I also saw that the CoverGirl cosmetics are "Buy One Get One 50% off," so I was able to take advantage of the BOGO CoverGirl coupons that are expiring 9/30. I bought two TruBlend Foundations ($8.99), got 1/2 off of one (-$4.50), used a BOGO coupon (buy one foundation, get a face product free, PG 8/30) for which they gave me the full $8.99 off, and also a $1/1 any CoverGirl product (also PG 8/30). SO....after coupons, I paid $3.50 for two foundations! Not bad if you ask me!
The Blvd store also has a TON of great clearance stuff! Look in the candy and toy aisle!
When I later went to the 12th Rd store, they were wiped out of the Dentek flosspicks and the Oral-B Advantage, but seemed to be well-stocked in everything else. I tried to again do the CoverGirl deal, but they would not let me use the $1/1 in addition to the BOGO, which was ok by me. I still got them, because $2.25 is a great price for TruBlend Foundation! They were also almost completely wiped out of the great clearance items, which was a bummer. The 12th Rd store seems to have no limitations on how many RR items you can buy per day. As I was checking out at the cosmetics counter, I happened to glance down and see the Gillette Fusion razors hiding! They are at the counter, on the lower part. I do not know if the Blvd store had these in the same place or not, but you should definitely look for them there!
One other deal I scored at the Blvd store was they had some 5.5 oz Febreeze candles on clearance for $3.49. I bought two and used two $2/1 any Febreeze candle (PG 8/30), and also got two Febreeze Air Effects and used two Buy One candle, get one Air Effects Free (PG 9/27) so I scored two candles and two air effects for only $3! There were a few more, so be sure to look for them!
Alright...so....my cashiers at both stores were really patient and kind. The manager that helped me at the 12th Rd store was great, also. :)
In both stores, I had no problems getting any of the cats to print and both stores had displays toward the front of the store with ALL of the monthly RR deals all in one place on an endcap, so that was pretty nice. Didn't have to go all over the store to find them.

Anyone needs deodorant?

Last night my 16 year old needed deodorant.. I didn't want to pay full price for it, and told him to wait till tomorrow, lol.

Today I went to Fred Meyer. They have a $2.00 off coupon you can use at the store for Degree and Dove deodorant, price ranged from $2.79 - $2.99, I paid between .79 and .99 for each.

Also used all those nice $1.00 coupons we got with the Cheerios samplers a few weeks ago, and paid $.50 for each box.. I like Freddies.
